3 Month Hiatus

Okay, so it's been a while since my last real post. Reason? Well it's certainly not because i've been lazy or had nothing to ramble about, i have plenty to go off on. Truth is, i've been developing a new layout, since january, but needless to say, progress on that haven't been very far. It seems as though, when an idea approaches me, i find that most of them loses their luster soon after, and i end up scrapping the layout. Sad, yes. But i hope to finish up the layout soon so i can start blogging again. Not sure if any of you are still following my blog anymore, but i hope you all come back!

Anyways, i told myself i wouldn't post any more entries until i had completed the 2007 look, but recently, i cheated and a friend of mine let me post on hers as a guest speaker. Unmotivated

So here I am at 3:41AM and I'm so... well, unmotivated. I really do have to get my head out of the clouds soon and do some serious work... ^_^;; Since I'm here, I'd like to point out that the frames on the wall should look familiar. I had them on the wall before I moved from the bedroom to the living room, but I've finally took the chance to put them back up.

Just something i felt like sharing with you all. I downloaded all of jack johnson's albums the other night and now just really going through all of the tracks, but i came across this song and loved it so i picked up the tabs maybe 3 days ago and started practicing! I'm a lot better when im not being recorded, i swear! haha! It's weird how you get nervous when you're so close to the camera. Anyways, again, enjoy! Oh, and it's only a part of his song, i don't remember the lyrics for the second verse of the song yet :D! Cheers!

Queer Eye

Not an hour ago, I started looking through this book to recap myself on topics to write about, but, again, enticed by it's contents, spent the next hour shuffling through pages. "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy: The Fab 5's Guide to Looking Better, Cooking Better, Dressing Better, Behaving Better, and Living Better". Author of the straight man's bible- you all know who. So it's understood, probably not something a lot of straight guys are going to scramble to buy right off the bat (or get caught browsing through the pages for that matter... personally, I think most are reluctant to even heed advice from anyone who might seem gay...) But I shit you not, this book is awesome. A friend of mine got it for me maybe 6-8 months ago, but we never got to hook up for a day or so to exchange gifts. So we finally found time to chill maybe 3 weeks ago, and I received this great coffee table reading.

How to make the perfect martini (classy and elegant), how to buy a tuxedo (or suit for that matter), or even how to cook pan-seared scallops in brown butter sauce (tres magnifique!), instructed in a rather casual manner, essential knowledge just perfect for any straight guy (especially if he wants to impress!) And honestly, even perfect for the gay gentlemen as well, cause I know a lot of you guys can't cook either, don't look at me like you do! But again, if you're in a local Barnes & Nobles, look it up, sit with it for an hour... you'll be a realized man! Cheers!

Drapery

FINALLY, I'M DONE WITH IT! Honestly, i took no more than 6-7 hours on this bad boy... but I did wish, however, I did spend more time on it, instead of procrastinating... Anywho, worked on this from 2:00AM till 6:00AM (I had about 2-3 hours of work on it prior to tonight) and it's finally finished! I mean, sure, I can make finishing touches, but eh... I'm tired! so the one on the top, is the one I did in class, whereas the one on the bottom, drew that one in my apartment. :D

Okay, so it turns out, the RSS thing does work, so enter your emails! It actually sends the entire entry to your email, so it's kind of cool :D! It doesn't, however, keep the original text formatting I intend, so at the bottom of the email, it has a link to my blogsite, so use that if you wanna hear the music I post or see how the format of the text is suppose to be like. :D Matta ne!
